- Full-time student
- Already gained acceptance into Malaysian Government Universities (IPTA) for Year 2014
- Possess good academic results
- SPM or equivalent – min 6As + pass all subjects. Good results in Mathematics, English, and Bahasa Malaysia
- STPM or equivalent – min 2As + pass all subjects
- MUET – min Band 4
- Actively participated in co-curriculum activities and displayed outstanding leadership qualities
- Strong communication skills
- Possess positive attitude
- Medically fit
- Have not received any other financial aid from any organization
- Scholars shall be free from future employment obligations
- Student who meet the above criteria (a to j) are welcome to apply. However, preference will be given to students from families with household income of RM5,000 per month or below

- a)Serves a bond with company offering the scholarship for a minimum of 3-4 years. The bond will start immediately upon completion of degree course.
- b)Scholar will be required to work in the sponsor company or any subsidiaries within OYL Group Malaysia.
- c)Perform internship in the sponsor company or at any subsidiaries within OYL Group Malaysia during semester break.
- d)Scholar shall reimburse 100% of the scholarship fees should he/she resign from the company or is terminated during the period of the bond.

- OYL Malaysia will start to accept the applications only after the release of IPTA admission results.
- Student who is currently in their first year of study on undergraduate level is welcome to apply. First year student is required to attach a copy of the academic result upon submission of the application form.

- 7 days after the release of IPTA admission result: Student who received offer of admission to the first year of study on undergraduate level
- Only shortlisted scholars will be called for interview.
- The final selection will be based on interview results.
