IPT Sports Scholarship In Malaysia

The Education Ministry of Malaysia invites student athletes to apply for its scholarship programme. The programme aims to encourage students to excel in sports while pursing academic excellence at institutions of higher learning (private, public and polytechnics).

• Malaysian citizen;
• Age not exceeding 45 years;
• The applicant is not served with any organization / fixed income.;
• Has received a letter of offer or are pursuing full-time at the Diploma / Degree / Graduate / Post Graduate / Masters / Dr.Falsafah from any Higher Education Institution;
• For students who are studying at higher education institutions, should:
• Academic results at least CGPA of 2.50 for IPT athlete or get a CGPA of 2.00 for State athletes in the current semester before the closing date for applicants who are studying in an institution.
• Balance studies have at least 2 years and above in any institution.
• Eligible to apply if the student is still very active as an athlete with the achievement of at least win a medal in the Malaysia Games (Sukma) / ASEAN University Games (SUA) / recognized National Championship or Olympic gold medal in Higher Education Institutions (SUKIPT) before the closing date.

• Any course
• For medicine, dentistry and pharmacy, the scholarship is ONLY offered to students studying in public institutions of higher learning.

Allowances and benefits to be received by the IPT Sports Scholarship recipients are:

• Tuition fees are paid at the rate demanded by the institution.
• Living allowance, book allowance, tool allowance, thesis allowance and allowance for internship / project paper is based scholarships in the country that has been designated by the Government.

• Application is done online
• Review interview calls can be made from 14 to 22 August 2014
• Applicants who qualify for an interview need to bring along relevant documents during the interview.
