PhD Position in Joint Source/
Channel Coding with LDPC Codes (f/m)
The project is funded by DFG, the German Science Foundation. We are investigating interlinked code graphs for joint source and channel coding, with developments towards Markov sources and alike. Promising results have already been obtained, which represent a profound basis for further research.
Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English. German language skills will be appreciated, too.
Interested applicants should submit their curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests, university transcripts, two academic letters of recommendation, proof of English language proficiency, and, if applicable, degree certificates, GRE test scores, and samples of academic work.
