The INSEAD Citi Foundation Scholarships have been created to foster an interest in the financial services industry. Each year, two or three awards are made per class to candidates from Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Successful candidates will be allocated a mentor at Citi soon after the start of the programme.

Scholarship Worth
Successful candidates are awarded approximately US$5,000
Eligibility:
Candidates from Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa are eligible to apply. In addition, they will need to demonstrate their interest in the financial services industry, particularly within corporate and investment banking. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to demonstrate their need for financial assistance.
Essay topic:
Candidates are required to submit an essay on the following topic
In no more than 500 words present your commitment to a career in the financial services industry. Explain why you believe you should be considered for an INSEAD Citi Foundation Scholarship?
Provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as a cash flow forecast for the year at INSEAD (details of income set against all expenditures).
Scholarship Application Deadline:
11 February 2011 for the July Class (starts in September 2011)
18 August 2011 for the December Class (starts in January 2012)
Scholarships are awarded annually and deadline falls within same period of the year.
